Ruby was adopted from the SPCA in 2004. She was rescued from a home that was very abusive to her. For about 6 months after I first got her, she would scream and cry when I went near the blinds or opened the window. Ruby was set to be euthanised for cage aggression, and I just could not let that happen. Ruby went home with me on that grim day and became part of the family. Although her and Harley tend to tussle every now and again, sometimes I see them snuggling or taking care of each other, but always on the down low! Ruby is a great girl! She loves to bundle up in clothes after getting them out of the dryer, and she absolutely loves cheese!
