Joey, Dr. Kitz's Technician
Joey joined our team in 2011 with more than ten years of veterinary technician experience. He grew up in Georgia and during High School he volunteered at the local zoo and later came to Texas as a Pharmacy Technician.
Having a passion for animals, on a whim he accepted a position as a veterinary technician, he tells us, “It was the best decision I have ever made. Some days are smiles with puppies and kittens and others are teary because a four-legged friend went to the Rainbow Bridge. I am doing something great with my life and I love every moment because my career matters to someone, whether it has four-legs or two.” Joey and his domestic partner share their home with their beloved dachshunds, Junior and Oscar and their cats, Willow, Booster, Beastie, Sai and Thai.
